Solar Panel Cleaning in South Ockendon

South Ockendon's estate housing stock includes a substantial number of solar panel installations fitted during the government incentive periods, now several years old and accumulating soiling that measurably reduces their output. The town's open aspect on the Thurrock plain exposes panels to wind-blown debris from the surrounding agricultural land — organic dust, pollen and fine particulate from nearby logistics operations all deposit on panel surfaces over the course of a year.

Estate properties across RM15 typically have south or south-west facing roof slopes with pitches in the range of 30–40 degrees — effective for solar generation but not steep enough to self-clean in normal UK rainfall. Over a year without professional cleaning, this leads to a pollution film across the cell area that reduces light transmission and output. We use deionised pure water and a soft brush system that is safe for all standard PV panel coatings.
