Radiator & Wall-Heater Maintenance
When a radiator stays cold at the top or one room never quite warms up, it's usually down to trapped air or an unbalanced system. We bleed and balance radiators, replace worn or leaking valves, and re-secure loose radiator brackets across Thurrock, London, Kent, Essex and surrounding areas, so your heating works evenly and quietly. We also swap like-for-like electric wall heaters where an existing unit has failed.
Please note that gas work and boiler repairs are outside our scope — we don't carry out any work on gas appliances or boilers, and we'll always point you to a suitably qualified engineer where that's what's needed. Pricing for radiator and wall-heater tasks depends on the parts required and the number of units involved, so get in touch and we'll provide a quote.

What You Can Expect
From your first call to the finished job, here is how our radiator & wall-heater maintenance service works.
Tell us the symptoms — cold at the top, cold at the bottom, a leaking valve, a loose radiator or a dead electric wall heater.
Send photos of the radiator and its valves, or the wall heater and its markings, so we can identify the right parts.
We confirm a price and book a slot, bringing common bleed keys, valves and fixings, and sourcing a like-for-like heater where needed.
We bleed and balance the radiators, replace faulty valves, re-secure brackets, or swap the electric wall heater like for like.
We check each radiator heats evenly and there are no leaks, then top up and confirm everything is working before we finish.

Bleed radiators cold at the top
If a radiator is warm at the bottom but cold at the top, trapped air is the likely cause. Bleeding it releases the air so the whole panel heats — an easy win before winter.
Balance the system if some rooms lag
When radiators nearest the boiler run hot and far rooms stay cool, the system needs balancing so flow is shared evenly. It makes the whole home more comfortable.
Gas and boiler faults need a qualified engineer
If the problem is with the boiler itself or any gas appliance, that's specialist gas work and outside our scope — always use a suitably qualified engineer for it.
Our Workmanship Guarantee
Repair and maintenance work carried out by Multrex Maintenance Ltd is guaranteed against defects in workmanship for 12 months from the completion date. If the same fault recurs due to our workmanship within this period, we will return to investigate and rectify it at no charge. This guarantee covers Multrex labour — it does not cover faults arising from pre-existing conditions, customer-supplied materials, normal wear and tear, or damage caused after completion.
