Do you clean range cookers?

Yes, though range cookers are quoted individually because they vary significantly in size, number of cavities and hob configuration. Send us a photo and we'll quote accurately.

Yes. Hob burners, rings and surrounding surfaces are included in the standard single and double oven prices. No extra charge.

Is the extractor included?

The extractor filter is removed and cleaned as part of the double oven and range cooker price. The extractor hood exterior above the filter is quoted separately if needed.

Do you clean the racks and trays?

Yes. Racks, shelves, side runners and rack guides are removed, soaked and scrubbed separately — not just wiped in place. This gets into the corners and runners that a surface wipe misses.

Do you clean between the oven door glass?

We clean the door glass inside and out. Between-pane cleaning depends on the appliance — some ovens allow safe access to the panes; others do not. We'll tell you upfront if between-pane cleaning isn't possible on your specific appliance.

Can you remove all burnt-on residue?

In most cases, yes. Professional cleaning removes baked-on grease and carbon deposits that won't shift with ordinary cleaning. However, permanent discolouration, etched glass, corrosion and heat-damaged enamel are physical damage — not cleaning problems. We'll flag these if spotted.

How long does an oven clean take?

A single oven in moderate condition typically takes 1–2 hours. A double oven or range cooker takes 2–3 hours. Very heavily soiled appliances take longer — we'll let you know at quote stage if this applies.

Do I need to be home?

Yes — you or another responsible adult should be present for the visit. We need access to the kitchen and the oven must be confirmed cool before work begins.

Does the oven need to be cool?

Yes. The oven must be completely cool before we start — please don't use it the morning of the clean if possible. We'll confirm this on arrival.

Do you bring your own products and equipment?

Yes. We bring everything needed for the clean. You don't need to provide any cleaning products, equipment or materials.

Can landlords and letting agents book?

Yes. Landlords and agents are welcome to book standalone oven cleans for properties between tenancies, before photography, or as part of wider void work. Multiple-property arrangements can be discussed.

What cleaning cannot fix

Cleaning removes grease, carbon and residue — it cannot repair physical damage. Scratched glass, damaged enamel, faulty elements, broken seals or hinges, and permanent discolouration from corrosion or heat damage are maintenance or appliance-repair issues, not cleaning problems. We confirm the price and book a convenient time. The scope — which components are included — is agreed in writing before the visit.

On arrival, we protect the surrounding area before any cleaning begins. The oven is confirmed cool before work starts.

Removable components — racks, shelves, runners and side guides — are taken out and soaked while the cavity, door glass and hob are worked on.

The oven cavity, door glass (inside and accessible outer panes), hob and grill are degreased and cleaned section by section. The extractor filter is removed and cleaned where included.

Removable parts are scrubbed, rinsed and refitted. A visual check of all cleaned areas before we finish — if something isn't right, it gets addressed before we leave.

We wipe down the surrounding area and leave the space tidy. The oven is ready to use.

If you're moving out, schedule the oven clean the day before the checkout inspection — not the morning of it. If anything needs a second pass, you'll have time to arrange it.
