Don't cut grass too short
Scalping a lawn weakens the grass and lets weeds and moss take over. Little and often, taking no more than a third of the blade, keeps lawns dense and healthy.
Time hedge cutting around nesting season
Avoid major hedge works between March and August when birds may be nesting — it's an offence to damage an active nest, so schedule big cuts for late summer onwards.
Keep on top of leaves in autumn
Leaves left on grass and paths kill the lawn beneath and become a slip hazard when wet — regular clearance is quicker and safer than one big job.
Our Workmanship Guarantee
Repair and maintenance work carried out by Multrex Maintenance Ltd is guaranteed against defects in workmanship for 12 months from the completion date. If the same fault recurs due to our workmanship within this period, we will return to investigate and rectify it at no charge. This guarantee covers Multrex labour — it does not cover faults arising from pre-existing conditions, customer-supplied materials, normal wear and tear, or damage caused after completion.
