Kitchen Splashback Installation
A splashback protects the wall behind your hob and sink from grease, steam and water, and it's one of the quickest ways to freshen up a kitchen. We fit glass, acrylic and tiled splashbacks across Thurrock, London, Kent, Essex and surrounding areas, measuring carefully around sockets, hobs and worktops so the finished panel sits flush and looks the part.
Glass and acrylic panels give a sleek, wipe-clean surface with minimal joints, while tiled splashbacks offer a traditional look and plenty of choice. We prepare the wall, fit the splashback square and level, and seal neatly at the worktop and edges. Pricing depends on the material, the area to cover and any cut-outs required, so send us the details and we'll provide a quote.
Our Process
What You Can Expect
From your first call to the finished job, here is how our kitchen splashback installation service works.
Tell us where the splashback goes — behind the hob, the sink or a full run — and whether you'd prefer glass, acrylic or tiles.
Send photos and rough measurements, noting any sockets, switches or an existing splashback that needs removing.
We confirm a price and book a slot, then measure precisely and prepare the material and any cut-outs required.
We prepare the wall, remove any old splashback or tiles, and fix the new panel or lay the tiles square and level.
We seal the edges and worktop join neatly and clean down, leaving a smart, wipeable finish.
Insider Advice
Helpful Hints & Tips
Leave the right gap behind a hob
Splashbacks behind hobs need to sit at a safe distance from the burners. Choosing a heat-suitable material and the correct clearance keeps the finish looking good and performing well.
Glass and acrylic mean fewer joints to clean
A single panel has far fewer grout lines than tiles, so there's much less to scrub. It's a real advantage right behind a busy hob or sink.
Seal the worktop join properly
The line where the splashback meets the worktop is where water gets behind. A clean, well-sealed join keeps moisture out and stops the edge lifting over time.
