Plumbing in Elm Park

Elm Park was largely built as a planned 1930s garden-suburb estate, and much of its housing is still of that era. Older properties like these tend to bring their own plumbing quirks — traditional taps that need re-washering rather than a new cartridge, ageing waste traps and pipework under sinks that eventually weep, and cisterns with worn internal parts that leave a toilet running.
